Episode 2 is here! Ring Flash and Portrait Photography
We’re back for round two! We’re funnier, sexier, and better than the last episode. Unlike the Ironman Sequel, our sequel is better than the prequel.
In this episode, we drink with style and you’ll find out what we mean by that. Our main topic we covered today is portraits, and elaborate on what to avoid and what to look for. We also do a review of the Alienbees ABR800 Ring flash which is probably one of the most affordable ringflashes on the market. We also got our first question from a viewer and we answer their question.
Are you ready for a couple of laughs, and some amazing education?
If you would like to see the video larger click on “vimeo” in the video above.
We also forgot to mention that the best lenses for portraits are generally 80mm – 120mm, and shooting at a low aperture (i.e. f/2.8) is generally recommended for portraits to blur anything out in the background that might be distracting.
If you would like to check out the product we reviewed in this episode it is right here

If you get it, it’ll be the most expensive coffee mug you’ll ever buy in your life ;(
